Belize - When To Go
Belize has two distinct seasons; January to May is the dry season and June to December is the wet season and also the hurricane season.
The rains can sometimes continue into the beginning of January, although the Cayes (islands) off the coast do not often receive as much rain as the mainland during this month. August can also, sometimes, bring a small break in the rain, but this is not guaranteed.
Please use the information here as a guideline only. In an ever changing climate it has become extremely difficult to predict weather patterns, especially when years of El Nino and La Nina occur, making any forecasts superfluous.
