Being in Latin America is an outdoor adventure and with so many options in such a large area, we decided to give you some ideas of what can be done and where. You can do almost anything here; abseiling down waterfalls, snorkelling along a pristine reef or trekking over snow-capped Andean peaks. This page will hopefully give you some guidance, though we recommend calling us so we can tailor any holiday to fulfil your interests.

The list below is certainly not exhaustive, but these are the most popular activities that we tend to include in most itineraries. Each of the below can be arranged prior to departure or on your own when you get there, depending on how you like to travel and each is with a specialist guide where necessary. These suggestions can also be combined with any other interest you may have, whether you are after some ancient ruins and diving, horse riding and colonial towns or bird watching and trekking.

Central America is home to the second longest barrier reef in the world, home to a thriving and colourful coral reef and numerous outer atolls. In certain places the reef is so close you can kayak out to it from the shoreline for a day of snorkelling

Latin America is a continent rich in history, a continent that hosted two of the greatest empires in the world; Mayan and Incan. A lot of this world was destroyed by the Spanish and Portuguese when they arrived, but a lot survived
