Located 100 km from the ruins of Chichen Itza and approximately 25 km from Merida, this privately owned, Starwood managed hacienda has been beautifully restored. This is one of three haciendas that the Starwood chain manages in the Yucatan peninsula.

THE DETAIL

The colours of the buildings with their blues, yellows and reds and their gardens have been restored to their original design, which includes a small church with stunning frescos within the grounds.

The hacienda has a superb pool with a Jacuzzi inside and a hammock resting above the water. The restaurant is al fresco and delivers impeccable food and service. The small spa offers a range of treatments and is located within the gardens.

The hacienda has 15 rooms, which are broken down into four categories; superior, junior suite, Maya villas and one patron suite. The rooms have high ceilings, marble bathrooms and all except the superior rooms have a private plunge pool.

The Maya villas have hanging beds (optional), outside sitting areas and are housed away from the main house. These villas are an addition to the property and are not part of the original hacienda, but are stunningly beautiful.
