This eco-lodge is located within a cloud forest close to the train station in the town of Aguas Calientes – a 25 minute bus ride from the ruins of Machu Picchu. It has 83 rooms, a small pool, a chapel, a boutique shop, internet access, but it also boasts a botanical garden within the grounds of the hotel, which features fruit trees, medicinal plants and over 140 species of Orchid.

These gardens, along with the simple rustic style, make the hotel a favorite with conservation-minded people. It is the largest hotel in the vicinity with a restaurant that seats 150 people where groups can be accommodated by special arrangement

Their 84 rooms are split into 7 different categories;
Superior room. This is the perfect sanctuary for simple relaxation with one queen or two double beds, 100 pct cotton sheets and hypoallergenic pillows, plus an samll but inviting dining area. Decorated with local crafts and eucalyptus beams, this Casita includes a room heater, a colonial style wardrobe, Andean slippers crafted from recycled materials. (322.80 ft2)

Superior deluxe.  Attractive Casitas in Andean Inkaterra style (30m2-322.80ft2). The Casita is equipped with one queen size bed or two double beds, 100% cotton sheets, four anti allergic pillows in every bed, two robes, recycled Andean slippers and dining area in front of a fire place.

Junior suites. Offer a separate area for reading and relaxing, with iPod speakers next to the fireplace, plus the possibility of a balcony or terrace. One queen or two double beds, 100 pct cotton sheets along with six posh hypoallergenic pillows, a room heater, separate sitting, dining for two and a large private bathroom with a telephone provide this casita with added comfort. Deluxe junior suites. This is an expanded junior suite with a lavish bathroom that includes a marble basin and telephone. One queen or two double beds, 100 pct cotton sheets along with six hypoallergenic pillows, a colonial style wardrobe, a room heater, separate sitting, dining for two, and work area in front of a fire place provide this casita with additional comfort. Suites. Experience VIP treatment, beginning with maid service three times daily and an array of added amenities, such as Wi-Fi Internet (at no additional cost), plasma screen satellite TV with DVD player, iPod with home stereo, minibar and cordless telephone. Personalised comfort is assured, with one king or two double beds, 100 pct cotton sheets plus room-controlled air conditioning and heating, closet area, two robes, Andean slippers crafted from recycled materials outdoor shower and canopied day bed. The luxuriant marble bath has two basins, independent shower and toilet (1258.92 ft2)

Inkaterra suite. This is a private paradise, with a personal garden and covered terrace, pool, extra-large canopied lounger and outdoor shower. Nearly 1,900 ft2 of beautifully appointed space includes an expansive sleeping area with king bed, 100 pct cotton sheets and additional seating; a second room features a gracious area for working or relaxing, as well as dining for four in front of an open fireplace. The acclimatised room includes Wi-Fi Internet (at no additional cost), plasma screen satellite TV with DVD player, iPod with home stereo, minibar, and cordless telephones. This casita includes all standard Inkaterra amenities, plus the added conveniences of the suite and three-daily maid services (1893.76 ft2)

Villas.  Designed for traveler seeking for a truly authentic encounter. Two adjoining suites, each with terrace and pool, overlook a lush garden with private entrance. Registration will be at the villa and includes a round of the clock VIP butler service. Sleeping accommodations are two king or one king and two double beds. Each Villa has a wood-burning fireplace, plus seating and dining areas
