OUR FAVOURITE THINGS TO DO IN BARILOCHE

CIRCUITO CHICO

This half day tour takes you through the southern region of Bariloche and around the Nahuel Huapi lakeshore. The day includes walks around the lakes and across the San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas as well a chair lift which takes you to the top of the mountain, from where you can see Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes

CERRO CATEDRAL

This half day tour takes you to the foothill of Catedral ski resort where there are various ski lifts that take you to the different ski runs, which in summer are ideal for walking.

VICTORIA ISLAND

This full day trip begins with a 30 minute boat crossing to the port of Anchorena on Victoria Island. From there you can wander about various trails. In the afternoon you board the boat and sail northwest towards Quetrihué Port where you will see the world famous Bosque de Arrayanes (myrtle wood).

KAYAKING

One of the best things to do around Bariloche is to rent a kayak. Grab a picnic lunch and make your way around the shoreline, which offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains and local towns and villages in the area

CIRCUITO GRANDE

A full day of driving which takes you through the outlet of Nahuel Huapi Lake and the spring of Limay river, towards the Valle Encantado (enchanted valley) and Confluencia Traful, a region of transition between the Patagonian steppe and the Patagonian Andean forest. The road continues bordering the lake, passes through Villa Traful and head towards Arrayanes Port

7 LAKES ROUTE

This is probably the most famous excursion – a road that passes 7 different lakes. Driving north you meet a dirt road that winds its way around Manzano Port towards Villa La Angostura. Once you left the village behind, you will be on the Camino de los Siete Lagos, or Seven Lakes Road: these are Correntoso, Espejo, Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso, Machónico, and Meliquina
