Remote Nicaragua

16 nights

Priced from £4850 per person

A note about pricing

The below is a true adventure.  You will go by boat from Lake Nicaragua to the Caribbean, a journey very few undertake. The reminder of your time is spent exploring the rest of Nicaragua.

As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £4,850 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis, private transfers, internal flights in Nicaragua, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Please note that the itinerary does not include any international flights

Day 1 Fly to Managua.  Met on arrival and transferred to Leon and the La Perla Hotel for 3 nights in a standard room on a b&b basis.

Day 2 A free day for personal exploration.  Leon is a charming and relaxing town with a superb main plaza and various local markets.
Day 3 Met for your half day excursion to Cerro Negro.  You begin with a walk to the top of this still active volcano.  Once at the top the views are superb.  The way down is much quicker, as you will snowboard down the soft volcanic lava on the other side!!
Day 4 Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to San Carlos.  Met on arrival and transferred to the Rio Indio lodge for 3 nights on a full board basis including all activities.

Day 5-6 In the jungle, the lodge has a variety of activities, all of which can be arranged on arrival.

Day 9-10 2 days free for personal exploration. Granada is the oldest colonial city on the continent and has a variety of attractions.  We would recommend a half day guided city tour, boat trip on Lake Nicaragua, jeep trip to visit Mombacho Volcano and Masaya market.
