A note about pricingss

This itinerary covers everywhere in Nicaragua except for the very remote region of the Rio San Juan and includes some of the best hotels available in each region.

As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £4,360 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis, private transfers, internal flights in Nicaragua, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Please note that the itinerary does not include any international flights

Day 1 Fly Managua.  Met on arrival and transferred to Leon and the La Perla hotel for 3 nights in a junior suite on a b&b basis.

Day 2 A free day for personal exploration.  Leon is charming and relaxing town with a superb main plaza and various local markets.
Day 3 Met for your half day excursion to Cerro Negro.  You begin with a walk to the top of this still active volcano.  Once at the top the views are superb.  The way down is much quicker, as you will snowboard down the soft volcanic lava on the other side!!
Day 4 Met and transferred to Managua airport for your flight to Big Corn Island.  Met on arrival and transfer to Hotel Casa Canada for 4 nights in a deluxe room with an ocean view on a b&b basis.

Day 5-7 3 days free for personal exploration.  Big Corn Island has a number of pristine beaches, superb snorkelling and diving opportunities that can be arranged and paid for locally as well as a trip to Little Corn Island.  There are also mountain bikes and sea kayaks for hire.
Day 8 Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to Managua. Met on arrival and transferred to Granada and the La Gran Francia for 3 nights in a suite El Duque on a b&b basis.

Day 9-10 2 days free for personal exploration. Granada is the oldest colonial city on the continent and has a variety of attractions, we would recommend: a half day guided city tour, boat trip on Lake Nicaragua, jeep trip to visit Mombacho Volcano and Masaya market.
Day 11 Met and transferred to Rivas for the ferry to Ometepe island.  Met on arrival and transferred to the Hotel Villa Paraiso for 3 nights in a suite.
