This is the perfect holiday combination for Central America as it covers so many different areas, making it one of the most diverse holidays on offer. It includes two major Mayan sites at Tikal and Copan, Mayan culture in Lake Atitlan and Antigua, adventure in the Cayo district of Belize and some downtime on the Belizean Cayes.
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £7,660 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis unless stated, private transfers, internal flights, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

|Fly to Guatemala City. Met on arrival and transferred to the Camino Real hotel for the night in a deluxe room on a b&b basis.
|Met and transferred to Lake Atitlán and the Hotel Casa Palopó for 3 nights in a junior suite with a lake view on a b&b basis. Often described as ‘the most beautiful lake in the world’, Lake Atitlán is stunning. Afternoon free for personal exploration.
|A free day for personal exploration and relaxation. There are several walks that can be made around the lake as well as exploring the colonial town.
|Met for your full day guided day boat trip around the lake visiting the towns of Santiago with its curious Maximon shrine and Santa Catarina with its striking purple local costume. Lunch included
|Morning free for personal exploration. Met and transferred to Chichicastenango and the Santo Tomas hotel for the night in a suite on a b&b basis.
|Met for your guided tour of Chichicastenango Market where hundreds of colourfully dressed locals sell their quality handicrafts. We suggest an early rise to watch the locals arriving and getting ready for market. Transfer after lunch (included) to Antigua and the Posada del Angel for 3 nights in a Mary Sue suite on a b&b basis.
|In Antigua, free for personal exploration. The town itself is a beautiful place to explore on foot.
|Met and transferred (7hrs) to Copan Ruinas in Honduras and the Hacienda San Lucas for two nights on a half board basis.
|Met for your full day guided tour of Copan ruins including a visit to the museum and bird park. Famous for its intricate carvings and hieroglyphics Copan is known as the Paris of the Mayan world. Highlights include the impressive hieroglyphic stairway, decorated ball court and Rosalila temple. Lunch included
|Met for your full day transfer to Tikal in Guatemala via the impressive Mayan site of Quirigua known for its tall and impressively carved stelae. Transfer on arrival to the La Lancha hotel for 3 nights in a lake view casita on a b&b basis.

|Met for your full day guided visit of Tikal – lunch included.
|Met and transferred to Belize and the Chaa Creek lodge in the Cayo District for 4 nights in cottage on a b&b basis. The lodge is surrounded by pristine jungle and is situated on the edge of a hill with a river running below.
|3 days free for personal exploration and relaxation. There are a number of excursions that can be arranged and paid for locally, including; birding, horseback riding, river tubing and swimming as well as cave tubing or canoeing on the Belize or Macal rivers or tours to Caracol and Xunantunich Mayan ruins.
|Met and transferred to the port in Belize City for your skiff (speedboat) to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Met on arrival and transferred by speedboat to Mata Chica for 4 nights in a deluxe beachfront Casita with an ocean view on a b&b basis.
|On Ambergris Caye. 3 days to explore the island and its surrounding reefs. We would suggest snorkelling in the sting ray alley and Hol Chan Marine Park, a trip to Goff’s Caye and diving in the famous Blue Hole.
|Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to Belize City, depart on Tropic Air 41 at 10:00 arrive 10:30, where you will connect with your return international flight
