A note about pricing

Combining Guatemala and Belize means combining culture with adventure.  Beginning in colonial Antigua you then head north to Tikal followed by some exploring in the jungles of Belize and the islands off the coast.

As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £2,966 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis unless stated, private transfers, internal flights in Guatemala and Belize, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Please note that the itinerary does not include any international flights

Day 4

Met for your half day guided tour of the ruins, which includes a picnic lunch in the ruins as well as the short canopy tour. We would then recommend returning to the hotel for a break from the midday heat and returning in the late afternoon, when it is cooler and there are fewer visitors – the ruins are within easy walking distance of your hotel.

Day 5

Met and transferred to the Cayo District in Belize and the Chaa Creek lodge for 4 nights in a cottage on a b&b basis.  The lodge is surrounded by pristine jungle and is situated on the edge of a hill with a river running below.
