The Art Hotel is the first “boutique” hotel in the city. It combines a European “hotel de charme” with the architectural style of Medellin and features exposed brick and modern art. Inside, the hotel has an interesting feel of a very funky studio and there is an open courtyard with the rooms placed around it on each level.

THE DETAIL

Rooms and suites at Art Hotel are stylish, with designer lighting and chaise lounges. All rooms have TVs with a DVD player. Some rooms have extra living space and luxurious bathrooms. There is free Wi-Fi throughout. The rooms have polished concrete floors though the beds were comfortable and the thread count on the sheets just made it to the acceptable level.

Located 100 meters from the Lleras Park, 500 meters from the “El Poblado” metro station, means it can get noisy here at night, especially on a weekend when the surrounding bars are open late. Art Hotel has a wine bar, as well as an art gallery and movie theatre and you can also use the Turkish bath and sauna.
