Hotel Casa Higueras is one of the new Boutique and Design hotels in Valparaiso. Beautifully situated on Cerro Alegre it offers great views over the harbour and the Plaza Sotomayor. Casa Higueras was built in the region’s traditional style of the 1930´s and was completely renovated in 2006.

THE DETAIL

Located in the heart of Cerro Alegre and facing an impressive view of the bay of Valparaíso, Casa Higueras is the first boutique design to open in this port town. Comfortable and spacious, Casa Higueras has 20 guestrooms distributed throughout four floors and is broken up into 3 different room categories.  Each category has individual terraces with different views of either Valparaiso bay, Cordillera hills or Concepcion hills.

The Casa Higueras has a garden with tiered terraces typical of the port’s hills and surrounded by figs, elms, palms, and an enormous monkey-puzzle tree. There is a relaxing outdoor pool as well as a sauna and Jacuzzi.

Situated in the roof of the hotel, the panoramic terrace is the ideal place to watch the sun set over Valparaiso and enjoy the slow appearance of hundreds of lights that begin lighting the hills of the city, one of the best views of the city.
