This is a fine hotel with probably the best bar for watching the sunset over the ocean.  The hotel has a colonial feel about it and although some rooms are small, the pool area overlooking the ocean is superb and they have the best room in town with their master suite, containing its own private plunge pool and four poster bed.

Villa D’Este is a charming and traditional petit hotel, nestled on a hillside overlooking Buzios´ emerald green bay, providing outstanding views and romantic sunsets. It is conveniently located on Humaitá Hill with private access to Bardot promenade and only 200 meters from the delightful Rua das Pedras – Buzios’ main street; where you will find fancy boutiques, local artisans, restaurants and nightlife.
 
Delicate and intimate, Villa D’Este offers only 15 individually decorated rooms and suites equipped with air conditioning, a TV, a telephone, a mini bar, a personal electronic safe, a hair dryer and amenities that will enhance your comfort.
 
Relax and enjoy the views in the ocean front Jacuzzi and heated swimming pool with a deck bar.
