Casa Carmen has a delightful home-away-from-home feel about it. With just 4 rooms, this boutique hotel oozes charm and intimacy. Traditional breakfasts are cooked to order and are served on the rooftop, whilst the internal décor is stylish and minimal, all of which is set on a backdrop of whitewash walls.

THE STYLE

THE DETAIL

The location of casa carmen is perfect; a short walk away is the town’s main street and the Zocalo (main square), meaning you can easily access restaurants, markets and museums, yet is conveniently tucked away on a quiet street.

The whole hotel has been decorated with pieces by local artist Amador Montes, which with the buildings white walls are the canvas for his paintings and sculptures. Throughout the hotel you will find cacti, small tress and carvings, sculptures and cute furnishings.

Each room is defined by different pieces of art, but all have high ceilings, wide beds, as well as spacious and stunningly designed bathrooms. Colourful rugs cover the white floors, traditional woven table runners cover tables and embroidered cushions sit on the wooden furniture, giving the place a perfect balance of serenity.
