Punta Faro Hotel

Isla Rosario & Baru

With its unique log cabin design from mangroves and palms, Punta Faro stands out for its architecture. It is a classic Colombian style beach posada and although little English is spoken, this is a place to unwind at the end of a holiday.
ROOMS:
OUR RATING:

Why we recommend it:

  • 37 ROOMS CLOSE TO THE OCEAN
  • SIMPLE FOOD AND SERVICE
  • RECOMMEND TAKING A JUNIOR SUITE
  • NO DAY TRIPPERS ALLOWED ON THE ISLAND

THE STYLE

THE DETAIL

The hotel offers 37 air conditioned rooms which are made up of 18 Standard rooms, 12 deluxe rooms and 7 Junior. Suite rooms all with sea view.  Saying this, we recommend taking one of the junior suites which are much larger and have a superb balcony that almost reaches into the ocean.

Food is OK, but not great, so don’t come here for culinary excellence, it is all about the location and getting away from it all for a few nights.  There are also a variety of water based activities on offer which include; windsurfing, snorkelling, sailing, kayaking and diving
