Lapostolle Residence is located just outside Santa Cruz in the forested hillside of the Colchagua valley in Chile’s premier wine growing area. This exclusive winery and lodge is owned by the Mariner-Lapostolle family who are the producers of the famous Grand-Marnier liqueur. It is a small boutique hotel with stunning views over the vineyards.

THE DETAIL

Lapostolle Residence is a very modern building, sticking out into the hillside. They have 4 luxury bungalows, aptly named Cabernet Sauvignon, petit Verdot, Merlot and Carmenère.

Each has a lower level living area with arm chairs, antique furnishings and a working fireplace. The bathrooms with their wooden floors and marble are sublime, whilst the outdoor veranda has spectacular views over the vineyards.

The main house is where the living and dining room are located and are well furnished with a lovely atmosphere. Outside is a large veranda, of course with sweeping views of the vineyards and is an ideal place for eating al fresco. They also have a swimming pool.
