Casa Atacama

Casa Atacama is a new hotel in San Pedro.  Casa Atacama has 25 simple rooms where they have used the natural light, local textures and wooden floors to bring the place to life. Each room has an interior garden and two terraces which catch the sun and offer a great place to relax after your day exploring the Atacama Desert.  We recommend taking a suite here as the standard rooms are small with poor views

Why we recommend it:

  • A fantastic mid-range hotel
  • Suites are lovely, standard room are small
  • Mix of traditional adobe and boutique
  • Friendly helpful staff

Immersed in one of the world’s most luxurious natural landscapes, Casa Atacama strives to mirror its natural surroundings by offering an intimate and local feel.

The Hotel has 25 rooms, 2 interior living rooms, library, public computers with internet and Wi-Fi, restaurant and dining room, exterior public areas and gardens, exterior chimney, spa, swimming pool and exterior Jacuzzi, massage and aromatherapy room, sauna and Turkish bath and emporium.

Casa Atacama provides simple eco-friendly luxuries and is a place where you can use the textures of an alpaca throw or in a peaceful breakfast on the terrace to relax.

Casa Atacama’s restaurant has some lovely local Atacama cuisine as well as exceptional Chilean wines. Casa Atacama have their own knowledgeable guides who run day trips around this area, including mountain biking, horse trekking and also offer guidance to let you explore on your own.
