Park Hyatt, Palacio Duhau

Buenos Aires

The Palacio Duhau was a 1934 neoclassic mansion and was completely refurbished in 2006. The hotel consists of two buildings which have been linked together by magnificent gardens.  They have kept the original marble floors and columns as well as the wood panelling glass chandeliers.  Park Hyatt has added a classic look to the old world with leather sofas and modern lighting and it has worked superbly.  The main theme to the hotel is art and several corridors are similar to a museum with art changing every few months

Why we recommend it:

  • Olympic size swimming pool
  • Corridors adorned with classic art
  • Impeccable service and welcoming staff
  • Beautiful classic rooms with modern amenities

OUR EXCLUSIVE VIDEO OF Park Hyatt, Palacio Duhau

The 23 rooms in the original mansion offer a stylish balance between new and old: French windows, sleek platform beds, flat-screen TVs, and large showers. Behind the Palacio lies a sunny terrace and a garden that links it to their new building, where the 140 spacious yet minimalist rooms are located and consist of pale oak and high ceilings.

The spa is one of the best in the city offering massages, face and body treatments, and salon services for men and women.  There is also an indoor heated swimming pool and Olympic size swimming pool and a comprehensive gym, all of which looks our over manicured gardens and water fountains.
