Horse riding in Ecuador is an activity done hand in hand with other interests as the country is not a pure riding destination. Ideally this would be combined with visiting some of the local markets, colonial towns and even the Galapagos Islands. Opportunities to ride come when you spend a little more time at one of the countries many haciendas. Here you have the chance to ride through the low lying Andes for a day or a half day allowing you to cover a great distance and see more of this beautifully charismatic country.

For centuries, regional markets have played an important role in Indian life, providing regular gathering places for trade and socialising.
