A note about pricing

The below contains some of the best hotels in Central America.  Beginning on the beaches of Nicaragua it is followed by an adventure through some of the more remote regions of Costa Rica and ending with a well deserved rest on the beach at the end

As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £6,380 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis unless stated, private transfers, internal flights in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, entrance fees, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Please note that the itinerary does not include any international flights

Day 1 Fly to Managua. Met on arrival by our representative and transferred to the Los Robles hotel for the night on a b&b basis.
Day 2 Met and transferred to San Juan del Sur and Morgan’s Rock for 4 nights on a full board basis.
Day 3-5 3 days free for personal exploration and relaxation.
Day 6 Met and transferred to Penas Blanca and the border with Costa Rica.  You will need to walk across the border, where you will be met on the Costa Rican side and transferred to Monteverde and the Sapo Dorado lodge for 2 nights in a sunset suite on a b&b basis.
Day 7 In Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve.  Met in the late morning for your zip-lining through the forest canopy along with the walkways along the hanging bridges.
Day 8 Met in the morning for your guided walk along the trails of the Monteverde Cloudforest reserve, where you have the possibility of seeing the resplendent quetzal!  Transferred in the afternoon to San Jose and the Hotel Grano de Oro for the night in a deluxe room on a b&b basis.
Day 9 Met and transferred to the Pacuare Lodge.  Transfer is by vehicle and by river raft, as you will be going over rapids (Class II and III) for an hour to reach the lodge.  4 nights in the honeymoon Suite on a full board basis.
Day 10-12 3 days free for personal exploration and relaxation.  The lodge has a variety of activities available as well as onsite naturalist.  All activities can be booked and paid for locally.
Day 13 Met and transferred back to San Jose for your flight to Punta Islita. Depart on SANSA 3630 at 08:41 arrive 09:10.  Met on arrival and transferred to Punta Islita for 4 nights in a Casita bungalow on a b&b basis.  Your room has a private garden with a plunge pool in.
Day 14-16 At Punta Islita, free for personal exploration.
Day 17 Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to San Jose, depart in SANSA 3630 at 09:10 arrive 09:40.  Met on arrival and transferred to the international terminal, for your return international flight.
