The majority of this itinerary is spent in Guatemala with some time on the beach in Belize at the end. Included is the colonial town of Antigua, Lake Atitlan, the Mayan temples of Tikal and the Belizean Cayes.
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £3,145 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis, private transfers, entrance fees, internal flights in Guatemala and Belize, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

| Day 1 | Fly to Guatemala City. Met on arrival and transfer (1hr) to Antigua and the Casa Encantada for 3 nights in a deluxe room on a b&b basis. https://www.latinodyssey.com/guatemala/casa-encantada |
| Day 2 | Met in the morning for your half day guided tour of beautiful Antigua on foot. The rest of the day is free to soak up the atmosphere of this UNESCO world heritage town. |
| Day 3 | In Antigua. The town itself is a beautiful place to explore and relax. Alternatively there are a number of optional excursions to explore the valley, climb a volcano or visit a Mayan market. |

| Day 5 | Often described as ‘the most beautiful lake in the world’, Lake Atitlán is stunning. Met for your guided day boat trip around the lake visiting the towns of Santiago with its curious Maximon shrine and Santa Catarina with its striking purple local costume. |
| Day 6 | The morning is free for personal exploration. We would recommend a trip to the famous Chichicastenango Market in the highlands where hundreds of colourfully dressed locals sell their quality handicrafts. |
| Day 7 | Met for your early morning transfer (4 hrs) to Guatemala City airport and flight north to Flores, depart 17:30 arrive 18:15. Met on arrival and transfer (1hr) to Tikal and the Jungle Lodge hotel for 2 nights on a b&b basis. https://www.latinodyssey.com/guatemala/jungle-lodge |
| Day 8 | In Tikal. Met for your morning half day guided tour of the ruins. The afternoon is free to further explore the site and surrounding jungle which are within easy walking distance of your hotel. |
| Day 9 | Met and transfer to Flores airport for your flight to Ambergris Caye via Belize City, depart 09:50 arrive 11:55. Met on arrival and transfer to Mata Chica Beach Resort for 5 nights in a sea breeze bungalow on a b&b basis. Free afternoon. https://www.latinodyssey.com/belize/mata-chica |
| Day 10-13 | On Ambergris Caye. 3 days to explore the island and its surrounding reefs. We would suggest snorkelling in the sting ray alley and Hol Chan Marine Park, a trip to Goff’s Caye and diving in the famous Blue Hole. |
| Day 14 | Met and transfer to San Pedro airport for your flight to Belize City, where you will connect with your return international flight. |
