15 nights

Priced from £3420 per person

A note about pricing

This itinerary begins in on the beaches of Mexico before heading inland to the Mayan world of Belize and then ending on the Cayes off Belize’s coast

As a guideline, the itinerary outlined below would cost approximately £3,420 per person based on two people travelling and includes all activities on a private basis unless stated, private transfers, internal flights in Belize, car hire in Mexico, entrance fees, accommodation and taxes and meals where mentioned.

Please note that the itinerary does not include any international flights

Day 1 Fly to Cancun. Pick up your car hire for 5 days. Drive to Tulum (4 hrs) and the Los Lirios hotel for 4 nights in an upper floor room with an ocean view on a b&b basis.

Day 2-4 3 days free for personal exploration.  Tulum is set on a beautiful expanse of white sand on the Caribbean. Just outside the town is a picturesque walled Mayan city which overlooks the turquoise waters, one of the most photographed sites in the Yucatán.  We recommend visiting the Mayan ruins of Tulum at sunrise to get the best out of the ruins and to avoid the crowds!
Day 5 Drive to Chetumal where you will drop off your car.  You will then need to take the bus across the border to Corozal (Belize), where you will be met and transferred to San Ignacio and the Cahal Pech resort for 5 nights in a bungalow on a b&b basis.

Day 6-9 4 days free personal exploration and relaxation. There are a number of excursions that can be arranged and paid for with the lodge, including; birding, horseback riding, river tubing and swimming as well as cave tubing or canoeing on the Belize or Macal rivers or tours to Caracol, Actun Tunichil Mucnal caves and the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich and Cahal Pech.
Day 10 Met for your early morning transfer to Tikal in Guatemala and the Jungle Lodge hotel for the night on a b&b basis. On arrival you will have a half day guided tour of the ruins – shared basis.  The remainder of afternoon is free to further explore the site and surrounding jungle.

Day 11 Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to Ambergis Caye, via Belize City.  Met on arrival and transferred to the Mata Rocks for 5 nights in a junior suite with an ocean view on a b&b basis.

Day 12-15 On Ambergris Caye, 4 days to explore the island and its surrounding reefs.  We would suggest snorkelling in the sting ray alley and Hol Chan Marine Park, a trip to Goff’s Caye to see the manatees and to snorkel off a classic Caribbean Island.
Day 16 Met and transferred to the airport for your internal flight to Belize City, depart 09:00 arrive 09:20, where you will connect with your return international flight
