Venezuela - When To Go

As a whole, Venezuela receives little rainfall. Parts of the country have heavy rains for few months of the year but the majority of the country has a low percentage.
The main months of rain along the coast are from May to October which has an average of approximately 110 millimetres each month.  In the south of the country, around Canaima and the Angel Falls June to August is the heaviest and if you wish to see Angel Falls by canoe May to October are often the only times this can be done as the rivers are at their highest at this time of year.

December to the middle of May is the driest time throughout the country, with pleasant temperatures in the mid-twenties and with little or no humidity.
Please use the information here as a guideline only.  In an ever changing climate it has become extremely difficult to predict weather patterns, especially when years of El Nino and La Nina occur, making any forecasts superfluous.
