Explora Rapa Nui: Our View
Explora Rapa Nui is the newest hotel on the Easter Island and has been designed with the environment in mind. The low slung structure overlooking the Pacific Ocean offers a great view from all directions. One of the best parts of this hotel is that all meals and wine are inclusive as well walking and biking tours to the famous Moai statues as well as the highest point of the island. This is one of the top hotels to stay in on the Easter Islands.

Explora Rapa Nui: The Detail
From outside, Explora seems to mimic its surroundings, as the stones and wood emulate the black of the nearby stone walls. The roofs are covered with red-brown clay slates, the same color as the surrounding hills. Explora Rapa Nui’s main building features a series of skylights in the form of extended ovals which are linked to one another, giving lovely soft light that moves with the path of the sun.
Explora has 30 comfortable rooms which run north to south from the main building and each have ocean view rooms. The sophisticated design uses pine wood and earth-colored concrete for the floor. Each room has a small living area, hydro massage bath and large comfortable beds and no TV, just beautiful views!
There is open area with swimming pool, solar-heated Jacuzzi and bar to one side and connected on the other by a walkway is Hare Taheta, the spa. Here you can enjoy various types of massage, such as relaxation and therapeutic, using different essential oils, all of course, with a view of the Pacific Ocean.
