Sol Y Luna: Our ViewThe Sol y Luna is a small personally run hotel, approximately 500 metres from the town of Urubamba. Sol y Luna is made up of a series of cottages attractively arranged in rows which resonate with an ambience imbued by the European owner. Sol Y Luna: The DetailSol y Luna has 28 bungalows spread across their colourful gardens. The bungalows are made up of 23 doubles, 3 family bungalows and 2 suites, all of which have private verandas. Their two suites are two floor cottages, with a bedroom (king size bed) on the lower floor and living area above and it is joined by a beautiful spiral staircase. The standard bungalows are slightly smaller in size, but no less attractive. All bungalows have been decorated with rich Andean textures, earthy and natural colours and a tiled bathroom. All the little touches are also their so expect lovely flower arrangements and bowls of fresh fruit. Within the grounds is a small outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and the Yacu Wasi spa. The spa contains a fully-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and a Spanish bath. There is also a wide range of therapies available, which include; facials, wraps and masks, traditional Swedish massage, shiatsu, aromatherapy and reflexology as well as some of the more unorthodox therapies such as energy therapies and Reiki.
