LAS CASITAS DEL COLCA

Colca Canyon

Las Casitas Del Colca: Our View

Las Casita Del Colca is a luxury lodge, situated in the midst of the Colca valley, between 2 small towns.  It is more comfortable than the Colca Lodge, but without the spectacular setting. There are twenty individual casitas in all with plenty of space, and each room has a breakfast terrace. A lot of the food that is served in the restaurant is grown within the hotel grounds which gives this rustic property a ‘home cooked’ family feel. This is luxury in a rustic setting.

Las Casitas Del Colca: The Detail

Las Casitas del Colca is Peru's hidden gem, a collection of luxurious cottage villas with a fabulous spa, set in the peace and serenity of the remote Colca Canyon.

Nestled high in the Andes, this Orient-Express secluded retreat offers a rare opportunity to experience the traditional beauty of Peru. Spot condors high overhead, hike through the fields or visit the hotel’s farm. Spend time in harmony with this lush valley’s nature and local community, with complete freedom to do as much or as little as you wish.

Dotted throughout the property are twenty private and spacious Casitas offering supreme luxury and exclusivity. Each Casita features a luxurious bedroom, spacious lounge and large bathroom all complemented by under floor heating, as well as featuring a private terrace and heated plunge pool. These Casitas have been built with privacy in mind and they have been built using natural materials with brick walls and Laja tiles. Each casita occupies an area of 120 meters square, 80 meters of this is indoor space.

Within the casitas is a foyer leading to the bedroom and lounge area.  In the seating area, a comfortable sofa faces a working open fireplace, and a writing desk is also provided. Bathrooms are reached through the dressing area, and are truly luxurious with double sinks and both indoor and outdoor showers allowing you a real 'back to nature' experience of showering under the open sky.  Floors are laid with marble and each bathroom also features a bathtub located under a glass roof, allowing guests to lie back and gaze up at the stars in the night sky.
