The original hotel was taken over by the impressive Inkaterra company and they have transformed the hotel into an excellent value for money property. The rooms are not the largest in town but each is clean and comfortable, yet smart and contemporary. El Mapi: The DetailEl Mapi’s design brings together a blend of classic, modern, restored and recycled materials. The influences are smart, informal, fanciful, and snazzy. The feel is of functionality and a lack of pretension. The flowing lobby creates a sense of vitality. Lofty ceilings, panoramic windows and an open cafeteria layout allows natural light suffused through the fence of tall eucalyptus trunks into an ambience, which create a sense of order and wellbeing.
