Punta Caracol: The DetailThere is absolutely nothing to do here except spoil yourself with sumptuous seafood and good wine; snorkel in the crystal clear aquamarine waters and read that book you have been wanting to. If you feel really energetic you can kayak. Heaven! There are just nine spearmint coloured wooden cabins set over the water in a sweeping arc. There are 3 types of rooms here – there is one master suite which offers you more space, 3 Luna Suites which have the benefit of wrap around decks, and 5 standard cabins. They all have two levels which makes you feel like you have a ‘mini’ house all to yourselves for your stay. Upstairs is a decadent carved, wooden four poster with billowing white curtains. Downstairs is your bathroom, living area and sundeck. The style is nautical with lots of teak wood which contrasts beautifully with the powder blue walls and citrus yellow windows. A four step ladder off the sundeck is your passport to some rainbow coloured coral beneath and superb fish life. The restaurant is a short walk away down the boardwalk and serves up exquisite cuisine. You may also likeSoberania

Panama City
The Bristol has one of the best reputations for quality within Panama City and rightly so. The hotel, despite marketing itself as a business hotel, has a feeling of decadence with its open spaces and Victorian furniture.
El Valle
Nestled in the corner of the Anton Valley is the Los Mandarinos, a cosy boutique hotel nestled amongst fertile mountains with stunning views. Its architecture is that of a French Chateaux with soft golden coloured local stonework
