DAD IBE

San Blas Archipelago

Dad Ibe: Our View

Dad Ibe is an island in the middle of the San Blas Archipelago and is no larger than a quarter of a football field.  The whole island is white sand and is lined by crystal clear Caribbean waters, which is surrounded by a lovely reef.  If you want a bare foot island getaway, then this is it.

Dad Ibe: The Detail

The lodge has three rooms which are perched over the water, however they are extremely simple.  The rooms each have two queen size beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, but no hot water.  There is a small balcony at the back overlooking the coral lined waters below, with a small hammock.  There are no mosquito nets and there are no fans, so we strongly suggest that you bring your own mosquito net.

The island offers full board and certain activities, though the best thing about this place is that fact it is clean – unlike most other Kuna islands in the San Blas and you can snorkel directly off the pristine beach or alternatively swim to the two uninhabited islands opposite the hotel.
