Panama - When To Go

Panama, due to its location next to the Andes and its thin coastline, has a long rainy season.  This therefore only gives you only a small window in which to visit.
The rainy season runs from May to the middle of December and during these months she receives more rainfall than any other Central American country with an average monthly rainfall of over 280 millimetres. The driest and therefore best months are January to April.
Please use the information here as a guideline only.  In an ever changing climate it has become extremely difficult to predict weather patterns, especially when years of El Nino and La Nina occur, making any forecasts superfluous.
