MORGANS ROCK
San Juan del Sur
Morgans Rock: Our ViewMany of us are searching for an authentic experience with nature when we holiday in Latin America. There are many hotels that come close, but in our opinion, Morgan’s Rock at San Juan Del Sur has done it. Staying here, you want for nothing and can enjoy luxurious lodgings, gourmet dining and first class service from the local Nicaraguans. Morgans Rock: Fast Facts
Morgans Rock: The DetailAll of the above can be said with a clear conscience, as Morgan’s Rock is part of a 1,800 hectare property which incorporates tree-farming, reforestation and a protected wildlife reserve. The lodge has 15 bungalows which are all located on a hillside and overlooking the private beach. Built using tropical hardwoods, the bungalows are extremely spacious – more like a house! – with floor to ceiling windows which take full advantage of your stunning views. There are king beds on a raised platform, a huge bathroom, and a private deck with your outdoor shower and hanging double day bed. The style of the lodge is ‘Pared down luxury’ and much of the furnishings remind one of Terrance Conran circa 1970’s. Solid teak, stone sculptures and creams lounge chairs adorn the bar and restaurant. There is a large pool set inside the hillside and many other activities on offer such as horse riding, biking, surfing and nature walks. You may also likeLeon
