Hotel Dario: Our ViewThis beautiful old colonial building, painted a bright blue, is an old mansion with stunning views to both the volcano and the main plaza. It has two interior courtyards which the rooms of the hotel are spread around and inside one of the courtyards is a waterfall and lovely gardens and in the other a small swimming pool with sitting areas surrounded by lovely flowers. Hotel Dario: The DetailThe 22 rooms are all identical, you just pay more for a room with a balcony, which is worth it as the balcony gives you stunning views at sunset of the nearby volcano and the top of the cathedral in the main plaza. Rooms have high ceilings, wooden floors, en-suite facilities, air conditioning, cable TV and sitting areas on the balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Rooms either have twin beds or one king bed and although a little on the small side they are brimming with character. The hotel also offers a small spa and gym as well as an in house café and superb restaurant which serves excellent local cuisine and fish form the lake. The one downside to the hotel is that it is situated opposite a bar which plays loud music and hence it always has a lot of people on the street outside the hotel. You may also likeSan Juan del Sur
