Suenos Tulum: Our View

Towards the end of town is another good option at Sueno Tulum – Dreams Tulum.  The hotel has 12 rooms which are built into 4 blocks of 3.  Each is made from the traditional Mayan materials of mud and straw and has been smoothed over, painted in a beautiful soft green’s and ochre’s with hieroglyphics hand-carved into the side of almost all the walls.

Suenos Tulum: The Detail

The best rooms are at the top and have a king size bed, ceiling fan and excellent views up the coast.  The two rooms below have queen size beds and fans and all have a small private balcony.

The hotel has a good size swimming pool and restaurant, both of which are located on the beach, albeit within the grounds of the hotel property.  There is also a small massage centre along with a yoga area.  Suenos is located on a quite section of beach away from the bustling town in the north.
