Hacienda Xcanatun: Our ViewOpened in 2000, this is an 18thcentury sisal Hacienda set in over 9 acres of tropical gardens which has been restored with great attention to detail. Xcanatun has won multiple awards over the years and for good reason – it is a truly unique experience. Wandering around the grounds, it is easy to get lost as you pass through the lush gardens - pink bougainvillea crawling up the sides of the tall stone buildings and down the carved wood verandas. Hacienda Xcanatun: The DetailThere are two pools - set at the far north and south of the property. The restaurant set within the old machinery house is now extremely chic in décor and produces some of the best food in the region. The spa offers holistic Mayan healing treatments. The 18 suites are a delight with incredibly high ceilings, polished stone floors and antique furniture. All have verandas slung with hammocks overlooking the gardens, with the suites featuring a private hydrotherapy bathtub. There are many modern comforts such as CD player and wireless.
