Esencia: The DetailSet in lush gardens, there is an abundance of natural wildlife all around, and the beach is great for swimming and snorkelling. Esencia welcomes families and is therefore a real draw for people who are attracted by the intimacy and relaxation that a small chic hotel offers yet embraces the lively nature of family life. The main house has two split level suites, both of which overlook the Caribbean with private terraces. The villa, with two bedrooms, is ideal for families. The majority of the rooms are garden suites. All rooms have their own private plunge pool, iPod docking station and widescreen TV. Merida
This privately owned house is hidden away from the main centre of the city, and can be difficult to find! The house is not open to walk in customers and is one of those little gems which you only know if you have been to Merida.
