Mexico - When To Go

On Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula you can expect year round temperatures in the high twenties to mid-thirties, with the main rainy season from June to October.
The rains begin in mid-May with June, September and October being especially heavy.  This is also the hurricane season and a time to avoid.  November to early May is therefore the best months to visit the Yucatan Peninsula, when there is little rainfall and less humidity, especially in the evenings when temperatures are a lot cooler.
Please use the information here as a guideline only.  In an ever changing climate it has become extremely difficult to predict weather patterns, especially when years of El Nino and La Nina occur, making any forecasts superfluous.
