VENEZUELAN DREAM
Day 1: Fly Caracas
Arrive Caracas and make an immediate connection to Porlamar on Margarita Island. On arrival transfer to the Casa Chiara hotel for 3 nights.
Day 2-3: Margarita Island
Your hotel has its own private beach and is an ideal place to unwind. During the next 2 days you can tour the island finding hidden waterfalls, witness superb sunsets or spend a full day on a yacht visiting smaller islands, snorkelling and enjoy a seafood barbeque on the beach.
Day 4: Fly Canaima National Park
A short internal flight takes you to Canaima, where you will be met and transferred by boat to your lodge above the falls. Ucaima lodge is well away from the tourists and the remainder of the day is spent exploring and swimming in the falls surrounding your lodge.
Day 5-7: In Canaima National Park
During the next 3 days you will visit the Yuri falls, take a light aircraft and fly over the Angel falls, visit the Indian settlement of kavac, walk through the 'enchanted valley' one of the narrowest in the world, swim in the hidden waterfall at Kavac, take a motorised canoe over the Arautaima rapids to visit the Penom Indian village, swim in the black water river and lunch on Orchid Island as well visiting the Sapo and Moroco waterfalls.
Day 8: Fly Porlamar
A late morning flight takes you back to Margarita Island.
Day 9: Fly Los Roques
An early morning flight to the Los Roques archipelago enables you to check in immediately to your hotel, allowing you to spend the remainder of the day snorkelling and exploring the nearby islands of Francisquises and Nordisqui.
Day 10-12: Sailing the archipelago
For 3 days your home will be a catamaran, taking you to Cayo de Agua, the furthest away in the archipelago and an untouched paradise. White sandy beaches line the island that is surrounded by pristine reefs, superb for snorkelling or diving. Your catamaran has its own cabin or you can sleep al fresco.
Day 12: Los Roques. Fly U.K
Taking the British Airways flight allows you another full day in the islands, swimming and snorkelling on the islands of Rasqui or Cayo Pirata. Late check out from hotel for last flight to the mainland (5pm). Fly U.K
Price
The cost of the tour outlined above is £ 2,920 per person based on 2 people sharing and includes all activities on a pribate basis, transfers, accommodation, meals where applicable and all internal flights.
