Day 1. Fly london to Rio
Fly London to Rio de Janeiro, on the overnight flight

Day 2. Transfer to Buzios
Met on arrival and transfer to Buzios and the Casa Brancas hotel, situated approximately 3 hours outside Rio. The peninsular has some 20 beaches within easy reach of your pousada, making it an ideal location to relax and unwind. 4 nights in a deluxe room with an ocean view on a b&b basis.

Day 3-5. In Buziosi
3 days free for personal exploration, where you can explore the surrounding beaches and small fishing villages along the coast, or simply spoil yourself at the spa within the hotel.

Day 6. Buzios to Rio
Met and transferred to Rio de Janeiro and the Ipanema Plaza hotel for 2 nights on a b&b basis. Afternoon free for personal exploration.

Day 7. In Rio
Met for your visit of Corcovado mountain, which has the statue of Christ the Redeemer perched on the top, followed by a visit to the famous Sugarloaf mountain to watch the sun set over Rio, the mountain is only accessible by cable car.

Day 8. Fly Lima
Met and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Met on arrival and transfer to the Sol de oro Hotel in Lima for the night on a b&b basis.

Day 9. Lima to Lake Titicaca
Transfer to airport for a short (45mins) flight to Juliaca. Met and transfer to Puno on the edge of Lake Titicaca, stopping en-route to visit the Chullpas (funeral towers) at Sillustani.

Day 10. On Lake Titicaca
Full day excursion by boat on Lake Titicaca including visits to the Uros Islands and Taquile Island.

Day 11. Train to Cuzco
Transfer to the train station for the train to Cuzco (first class). Departs 08.30 arriving Cuzco 18.00. Met on arrival and transferred to the Casa Andina hotel for 2 nights on a b&b basis

Day 12. In Cuzco
A day free for personal exploration. We would suggest visiting the outlying sites of Tambomachay, Quenko and Sacsaywaman.

Day 13-14. Machu Picchu
Early morning train to Machu Picchu, guided visit of site, overnight in the Machu Picchu Inn. Following morning watch the sunrise over the site, optional climb of Huayna Picchu mountain giving superb views from above of the site. Met by your guide for the late afternoon train to Cuzco. Met on arrival and transferred to the casa andina hotel for 2 nights on a b&b basis

Day 15. In Cuzco
Free for personal exploration

Day 16-18. In the Amazon
Fly from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado (60mins), depart 07:00. On arrival you will be met and transferred by motorised canoe to the Posada Amazonas (60mins). An excellent lodge containing18 miles of walking trails. The 4d/3n package includes all excursions and activities and is on a full board basis.

Day 19. Amazon to Lima
An early morning transfer back to Puerto Maldonado for your flight to Lima. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for the night on a b&b basis The afternoon can be spent visiting the colonial district of Lima and several of its museums.

Day 20. Lima to London
Met and transfer to the airport for your return international flight

Price
As a guideline, the itinerary outlined above would cost approximately £2,746 per person and includes all activities on a private basis, internal flights and taxes in Peru, accommodation and taxes, entrance fees throughout, private transfers and meals where mentioned.
