The Lodge At Pico Bonito: The DetailThe lodge is completely built from local wood and as such fits into the surrounding environment with ease. The 22 wooden cabanas are simply decorated some have 2 rooms to a cabana others are stand alone. Each has en-suite facilities, mosquito netting on the windows and their own private balconies with a small sitting area looking out across the jungle. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool ideal for relaxing around at the end of a day of walking and the restaurant serves large portions of impeccably prepared Honduran food. The Hacienda San Lucas’ style is rustic, simple yet truly elegant. The main house is over 100 years old and has been renovated with loving care over the last few years by the owners together with local artisans from Copan.
