Hotel Bambu: The DetailThe hotel has 10 rooms, 2 of which are individual bungalows. Although the rooms are fairly simple, their setting overlooking the lake and surrounded by pristine gardens more than makes up for this. Staff are helpful and friendly and the pool area is large enough to accommodate all the hotel and more. Being close to the town of Santiago means you have the option of just relaxing at the hotel or heading into town to see the colourful markets and the busy street life. There are also some excellent walks to be down around the lake, which can be done from the hotel. You may also likeTikal
