The hotel has some of the best gardens in the area, so much so that they charge a small amount for people not staying in the hotel to visit them. Hotel Atitlan: The DetailThe rooms are spread out over three floors with the second and third floors offering the best views of the lake and volcanoes opposite. Rooms are tastefully decorated with wooden furniture, metal framed beds and large bathrooms. The junior suites and master suites have sitting areas along with an open fireplace, large verandas and are worth the additional cost. The outside pool and separate outside Jacuzzi overlook the lake and are an ideal place to relax and unwind if the activities around the lake do not appeal.
