Galapagos - When To Go

Each month in the Galapagos Islands brings something new.  The Islands which sit nearly 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador have their own micro climate.
The rainy season is from January to March, with March generally being the heaviest.  Don’t expect rain every day, but occasional heavy showers. June to September is the start of the Garua season, a time when you will see early morning and evening fog cover the islands and when they are at their coldest.
Please use the information here as a guideline only.  In an ever changing climate it has become extremely difficult to predict weather patterns, especially when years of El Nino and La Nina occur, making any forecasts superfluous.
