Mansion Alcazar: The DetailLocated a short walk from the famous square of Parque Calderon, Mansión Alcázar is at the very heart of the city. This is the sort of place where you can sit by the baby grand piano sipping a local cocktail. The 11 rooms and 3 suites are all different sizes. The single, double rooms and suites have inspiring names such as: Lili, Nina, Chocolate, Basilica, Floral, Royal ... and all are uniquely decorated. The Peach Room has a canopy and wrought wood bed, a beautiful antique wardrobe and a lovely coffee table. The Floral room unveils a collection of silk flowers and the Cielo master suite is hand painted. Within the hotel is a small reading room with books on culture, crafts, and points of interest in Ecuador, as well as a large collection of travel guides and novels. There is also a tea & Coffee room where you can have a homemade snack. At the reception you will find a warm welcome and plenty of useful information for you. Their gardens are a green oasis where you can lunch al fresco on sunny days, between jasmine, bougainvillea and hummingbirds.
