Hacienda Leito: Our ViewHacienda Leito is a typical Ecuadorian hacienda. It has retained all the original characteristics; hardwood floors, open fireplaces and a charismatic décor that blends into its surroundings. The rooms are spacious, food is excellent and the extensive spa is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. We would recommend spending a couple of nights here to relax. Hacienda Leito: The DetailThe Hacienda Leito is located in the valley of Patate right at the entrance to the Llanganates National Park. It is a classic old Hacienda with a few modern touches and comforts. The hacienda revolves around the central fountain near the entrance to the main building which houses the restaurant and lounge area. The hacienda is filled is filled with antiques and colonial-era artwork, hardwood floors, exposed wooden beams and large picture windows, all of which creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The hacienda has 24 spacious rooms, 4 Family Suites and 1 Presidential Suite with a Jacuzzi. The bright comfortable rooms have been recently remodeledand are all en-suite with both a shower and a bath. All rooms have a private balcony with visit to the Llanganates National Park, some with views directly to the Tungurahua Volcanoor to the garden and the patios. Each has an open fireplace which adds to the intimate and romantic feel of the hacienda There is a new extensive spa, which has a large indoor swimming pool under a broad, high roof with skylights and a small sitting area. The lodge itself is beautiful with local architecture, hardwood floors and well considered amenities. A 120-foot canopy tower deep in the forest allows you to experience the life above the forest floor

This is one of our favourite haciendas in Ecuador, due to its historic building and location. The hacienda has the form of a working ranch with a courtyard and rooms running off from it.
