Kapawi Eco-lodge. The lodge has 20 individual double cabins; all built around the lake with private facilities, and balconies with lake views. The lodge is built on Achuar Indian land, whose people had little contact with the outside world prior to 1960. The lodge uses low impact technology such as solar power and biodegradable soaps. All visits into the rainforest are in small groups with 2 guides - an Achuar Indian and a bilingual naturalist. Sacha lodge. Built on the banks of El Pilche lagoon, the lodge contains a 3 storey high main building with restaurant, bar, library and observation platform. The 10 double cabins, each with private facilities, balconies with hammocks, hot water and forest views, and are all linked to the main building by wooden boardwalks. The lodge has a network of trails, canoes and you are able to swim in the lagoon.
