Casa Turire: Our View

Located outside Turrialba, about 2 hours from San Jose, Casa Turire is surrounded by beautiful, lush undulating fields and coffee plantations. Designed in the style of a colonial house, there are wide open veranda’s painted in a peacock green. The central courtyard with its soaring glass roof is tiled throughout with splendid bright Mexican tiles.

Casa Turire: The Detail

Casa Turire has twelve rooms and four suites, all of which are airy, spacious and enjoy natural wood floors, high ceilings, and private balconies. Guests have views of the surrounding hills or the pool area. Each room has satellite TV, fridge, fans and plenty of room for relaxing.

At the back of the hotel is a private screened area filled with tall palm trees and tropical flowers where you can relax in the pool and Jacuzzi. It is also where you can take breakfast of a morning.

The restaurant is elegantly appointed, the service quick and the menu is excellent. We adored the typically Central American dish of Black bean soup. The lake nearby is ideal for kayaking and the grounds wonderful for walks. Coffee tours, white water rafting and horse riding activities are also available.
