Cabanas del Lago is an ideal place to discover the region.  The town of Puerto Varas is within easy walking distance of the hotel and is right in front of Lake Llanquihue so has some great views across the lake.  The hotel lacks a certain amount of character due to its size, but it is well laid out and has some lovely staff

Cabanas Del Lago: The Detail


Hotel Cabanas del Lago is located in the higher part of the city of Puerto Varas, just 5 blocks away from the main square and downtown. This hotel perfectly combines the Patagonian style with modern decor.
 
The 130 rooms are divided into three categories; executive rooms, junior suites and suites.  All are clean and comfortable and are located on the hilltop of Puerto Varas overlooking Lake llanquihue.
 
Also in the grounds the hotel has 14 rustic cabins which can comfortably accommodate 5 people, so ideal for a family. Cabanas del Lago also has a heated swimming pool, Spa, barbecue spot, Internet access, bar and restaurant.
