Juma Lodge: The DetailThe Juma Lodge is a quaint, comfortable hotel designed to integrate with the environment allowing you to enjoy the wonders of the Amazon Jungle. Located three hours southeast of Manaus, the environmentally conscious eco-lodge is remote and its surroundings are relatively untouched. Juma Lodge's goal is to offer people unique nature activities, and all trips are organised in small groups, allowing for a personalised experience. Also unique to the lodge is its construction following indigenous building methods and using materials judiciously extracted from the region. The 23 bungalows are built on stilts, necessary due to the flood season, when the river water level rises up to 20 m (66 ft).
