The Placencia Hotel: The DetailThis has all the facilities you would expect from the largest hotel in the area. There is a beautifully designed and impossibly large pool which faces the beach; with a lovely poolside bar and restaurant on the sands. The other two restaurants are located in the main building and on the pier. For the active there is plenty to do – 2 brand new tennis courts, a dive centre, plus complimentary bikes and kayaks on offer. And for those who would rather relax – a spa. The standard rooms have a balcony with a partial sea view as well as fans and air-con. Suites are much more spacious with flat screen TV’s in the bedroom and the lounge, a kitchen, and bathroom with spa bath.
